Clathrate hydrates : from the genesis of planets, to a carbon neutral Earth planet
Clathrates hydrates are components with specific abilities to capture components and store energy. They open a wide varieties of questionning, from the fundamentals (understanding their role into the earth global behaviour or genesis of planets for example) to their utilization for industrial applications with a reduced environnemtal impact, on the way to carbon neutral balance.
This conference is a joint conference between ICGH (International Conference of Gas Hydrates, every 3 yers) and ECGH (European Conference on Gas Hydrate, every 2 years). It will be the opportunity to discuss the challenges and different thematics (under definition) belonging to Fundamentals, Crystallisation and flow modelling, Dynamics of Natural Systems and Carbon Storage, Hydrate based and energy efficient technologies, Hydrates and Astrophysics.
The Eleven International Conference on Gas Hydrates, ICGH11, is part of a series of conferences held every three years since 1993.

We hope the Ph.D. students and Post Doc to come numerously, and contribute actively to the conference, with a special cheap inscription rate, and possibility to find cheap room in the student city of Lyon.
Please come, inform your network, join us in Lyon, the ongoing French capital of foods, and for the time of the conference, the capital of hydrate research, reviewing the research developments, networking and fostering future collaborations.
